In the bustling South Main Street of Providence, Rhode Island, the renowned Old Stone Bank's Gold Dome stands proudly atop this magnificent granite structure. To accommodate the installation of new wiring and custom brackets, several configurations of the brackets were meticulously designed and fabricated. The new bracket configuration and fixture placement required careful consideration to ensure they did not damage the delicate 170-year-old decorative scallops. It was also of great importance to be intentional with the light to avoid disturbing the citizens of Providence with light trespass. Now from every vantage point within the city’s neighborhoods, the dome exudes the rich, authentic gold of the genuine gold leaf.
